Primary Research Area:
Non-professional solutions to public health problems, including mutual aid/ self-help groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous, peer support, social networks, community-based treatment, helping behaviors, spirituality, 12-step facilitation, and feedback about alcohol consumption. Methods include latent class growth curve modeling, ethnography, and scale development.
